As within, so without.
Have you ever looked into your own eyes and said something positive about yourself? We are not taught to praise, bless or affirm ourselves. That would be conceited, right? When you change your self talk to positive talk, your world begins to transform for the better. Positive statements are affirmations. Changing your self talk to positive affirming statements about you and your life has transformative, life enhancing power. Are you ready and willing to begin today?
If we could hear the self talk of others we’d often be astounded at how nasty and negative most of it is. This is the main reason we do not have good experiences. Life brings to us what we think about most. Negative talk is often the way that lonely, unhappy, poor, sick people talk. Notice the words they use. ”It kills me.” “It makes me sick…”” I can’t…” “It’s so awful…” This is an indication of what they accept as the truth for themselves.

When we change our thinking and consequently our speaking, we change our lives. Our thoughts and words are the barometer for joy, peace, health, prosperity and happiness in our lives. You can begin today to experience your good by becoming cognizant of your own self talk.

Do you always see the world as something to complain about? Every complaint is a powerful magnet for more of the same. The more you say you don’t want something the more life gives you those unwanted things. Every time you get angry, you're attracting more reasons to be angry in your life. Every time you feel like a victim, you're really attracting more events and reasons to prove that you are right. What you think about comes about. It is the Law of Attraction. If you feel that Life isn't fair, then you are setting yourself up for multiple opportunities to see and experience unfairness.

Positive thoughts are the initial solutions that will begin to attract what you truly desire in life. It’s a retraining of your thinking and speaking. It may seem awkward at first, but it gets easier. Especially when you start to see how quickly happiness, joy and peace begin to show up. By practicing positive thoughts and words as a daily ritual, you'll be creating new points of attraction in your subconscious mind, and they automatically start becoming true for you.

Begin each day with a look in the mirror and say something good to yourself. Let these words permeate your consciousness until they become a part of you, and you will eventually begin to believe them.

I know that each and every person can learn how to transform their thinking and speaking to create love, peace, joy, prosperity, and a sense of well-being. It’s simply a choice.

Today is the day for you to choose. You can do it! Rev Ann Ahokangas
